Team WHIP is 2x GRANT-FUNDED Progam
Exciting news from TEAM WHIP! We are thrilled to announce that we are GRANT-FUNDED! We have received our first grant the KIA MOVE Grant. Kia MOVE (More Opportunities Vibrant Environment) Grant has afforded Team WHIP to support breast cancer patients from Chambers County, AL and West Point of Harris and Troup Counties of Georgia at Enoch Cancer Center with Courage Kits valued over $100. We’re proud to have been granted $500 to support our Courage Kits Initiative. This initiative aims to support patients with courage and hope during treatment.
Exciting news from TEAM WHIP! We are thrilled to announce that we are GRANT-FUNDED! We have received our second grant, this time for education from the East Alabama Community Foundation (EACF). With a total of over $31,000 awarded to organizations in the region, we’re proud to have been granted $3,000 to support our TEA (Teaching Empowering Advocating) Project. This initiative aims to reduce disparities in our communities and promote proactive health measures. Check out our events tab for workshop dates and join us in making a difference!

Welcome to The TEA Project!
SPONSORED BY East Alabama Community Foundation Trust Grant - Education, The TEA project is Empowerment through Education Workshop. Classes will be divided into four classes, November 18th of 2025, January, March of 2026. Our mission is to empower communities to take charge of their health by increasing awareness about breast cancer. We aim to educate individuals on risk factors and prevention strategies, particularly within primary health care. By reaching just one person per household, we can work together reduce health disparities in East Alabama, especially in our rural areas. Join us making a difference for you and your family!
